Editing Data
The Library Explorer provides you with access to all of the data in your Library. To view and/or edit any of the Datafeeds and System Properties, right-click a Library, Project, or Scenario node in the Library Explorer and select Properties.
Tip
You can also double-click any Library, Project, or Scenario to edit its Properties.
Editing Datasheets Directly
Values for most Datasheets can be edited directly in the grid that displays the Datasheet on the screen. Individual cells of data can be edited, as can entire records (i.e. rows) of data. For example, you can delete a record by first selecting it and then right-clicking to choose Delete from the Edit menu. You can Cut, Copy, and Paste records in a similar way using the Edit menu.
Importing and Exporting Data
For editing larger datasets, you can both import and export records to and from any tabular Datasheet by selecting Import and Export from the Edit menu. Both .xlsx (i.e. Microsoft Excel) and .csv formats are supported.
Tip
The simplest way to import data from Excel into SyncroSim is to: (1) export a blank spreadsheet from your Datasheet to Excel to act as a template for your import (using the Export option on the Edit menu); (2) fill this blank spreadsheet with your data; (3) save the spreadsheet; and (4) return to the SyncroSim Datasheet grid to import the completed spreadsheet (using the Import option on the Edit menu).
Note
Additional options exist for importing and exporting data using the Syncrosim Command Line Console or the Syncrosim R package.
