Installing on Windows
Installing SyncroSim for Windows includes both SyncroSim Studio, and SyncroSim console (i.e., command line application).
Note
SyncroSim Studio is only available for the Windows version of SyncroSim. However, it is possible to run the Windows version of SyncroSim on Linux or Mac OS X in a virtual environment such as Virtual Box or Boot Camp
Requirements
64-bit Windows 10 or higher is required to run SyncroSim.
Directions for installing SyncroSim Studio
- Navigate to the SyncroSim website to download the latest stable release for Windows.
- Double-click on the syncrosim-setup-3-0-9.exe to run the installer.
- When prompted, follow the instructions on the installation wizard to proceed with the install.

Note
By default, SyncroSim for Windows is installed at C:\Program Files\SyncroSim Studio. Here, we can find both the SyncroSim Studio executable file SyncroSim.Studio.exe, as well as the SyncroSim Console executable file SyncroSim.Console.exe.
- When the installation is complete, select Close to complete the installation process.
- To open SyncroSim Studio, navigate to the Start Menu, then search for and open SyncroSim.
Remarks
If you get the following message while running SyncroSim then you are missing a required Microsoft update:
Could not load file or assembly "System.Data.SQLite.dll" or one of its dependencies.
To fix this problem:
- Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53587.
- Download and run the executable file vcredist_x64.exe.
Note
If running on Windows 7 you must install Service Pack 1 before installing SyncroSim.
