--copy --scenario
Copies a Scenario.
Syntax
--copy --scenario [argument, argument, ...]
Arguments
--slib=name
The source Library file name.
--tlib=name
The target Library file name. If omitted, the target Library will be the same as the source Library.
--sid=id
The ID of the Scenario to copy.
--pid=id
The ID of the target Project. Required if the source and target libraries are different.
--name=name
The name for the new Scenario. If omitted, the name will be the same as the name of the source Scenario.
--tfid
The target Folder ID. Optional.
--tpid
The target Project ID. Optional.
--targetroot
Copies the Scenario to the root of the Library. Optional.
--flatten
Flattens Scenario dependencies.
Remarks
If --tfid, --tpid, and --targetroot are omitted then:
- If the source and target Libraries are the same, the copy will be created in the same location as the original.
- If the source and target Libraries are different, the copy will be created in the root of the target Library.
Note
A Scenario must have a parent Project, so a new Project will be created for the Scenario when using --targetroot or when copying to a Folder that does not have a parent Project.
Examples
Copy Scenario 123 in Library *my lib.ssim" to a new Scenario called CopyName:
--copy --scenario --slib="my lib.ssim" --sid=123 --name=CopyName
Copy Scenario 123 from Library lib1.ssim to lib2.ssim and flatten dependencies:
--copy --scenario --slib=lib1.ssim --tlib=lib2.ssim --sid=123 --flatten
